Production logo feed back

Daniels feedback on the production logos:
  • looks professional like an actual production company logo
  • logo is clear, not to confusing
  • The colours work with each making it look effective, the earth stands out well on the black
  • The connection to the Illuminati, found it interesting
  • Logo is simple, not too clattered, easy to recognise
Connors feedback on the production logos:
  • Thought the logo was too plain
  • Not enough colour, so doesn't attract his attention

Film logos

These are our first draft logos, the main image is a computer screen tying in with our film as it is based of cyber terrorizing and also acts as the main body of the image to house the other images, the blood represents the murder aspect of the film and also makes it more eye catching, with just a monitor it would look very boring and unappealing to any audience, the splattered blood will bring more attention to our film and also gives a strong indication that the film will be slasher horror. The name of the film Slashtag also includes a '#' this is because of the name tying in with the media aspects of the film however it can also actually be used on social media like Twitter or Facebook, the actual of hashtag of '#Slashtag' can be used and this will be something we will be doing to promote our film when it comes to advertising it

Improved production company logo ideas

These are my production company logos, they are all similar in there appearance but they all have there own distinct differences. The one I have chosen to go with is the top right hand corner, this because I like how the writing is separate from the actual logo so it can be seen much easier by the audience

Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrells - Car scene

This is a clip from the Film Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, we have reviewed this as it shows as scene of violence, in our film there will be many scenes of violence, these videos allow us to take inspiration from them and use there camera methods in our trailer, this scene  is specifically impressive as you see none of the violence actually happen and it leaves it up to the imagination to think what actually happens to the man being beaten by the car door, it shows the mans aggression by focusing on his face the entire time as it is film from an upwards perspective

EBI:

·       Include paragraphs in your analysis – you should be making more than one point about each still.
·       Complete work on time and to the best of your ability.
·       Add detail to your blog posts and explain how these will inform your production work.
·       Develop your analysis of media texts – you need to consider connotations and make links to key concepts e.g. audience and genre.

Pupil Comment:

I’m happy with the marks for now but it clearly shows I can do better, this will be done by completing the work I haven’t done and by adding more detail to work I have previously completed.
I feel I can have all of my ticks in the 12-15 marks section with some in the 16-20 section
