Editing photos using PicMonkey
I have been using an online picture editor called PicMonkey, I can edit all the pictures that I will be using for my magazine, poster, billboard and DVD cover, its very useful for this as it easily allows me to change pictures to how I think they will suit my products, for a free online editor it is very good but it does have limitations as it only allows you to do basic edits like changing colours, brightness, crop the image, rotate the image, sharpen and re-size, however this is really all I need to create good quality images for my products

Magazine layouts
These are some of my magazine layouts that I will be using to help me create the front cover of my film magazine, I have used many of the same conventions found on a real magazine, like headlines, coverlines, straplines, banners, pugs (using different shapes including ovals and triangles for the corner of the page) Mastheads, the background cover image and I have also included barcodes and areas for the date and issue number of the magazine

Location release
We got in contact with a ranger from our local park to see if we could film in the area, we needed to ask for permission as the park is National Trust property. We spoke about what we can't and can do, we have been asked to be respectful to area and habitat and not to disturb the local wildlife by not littering and making too much noise, we have also been notified on certain areas we can not enter as they are restricted
